Mark Suozzo

Mark Suozzo began his career in music as an accomplished guitarist, arranger and conductor. His career in film began with indie director Whit Stillman. Their first collaboration, Metropolitan earned numerous nominations and awards. This successful collaboration led to the films, Barcelona and The Last Days of Disco. Mark’s music attracted the attention of documentary filmmakers Jan Oxenberg (Thank You and Goodnight), Michael Camerini & Shari Robertson (Well Founded Fear), Roger Weisberg (Why Can’t We Be a Family Again?) and Josh Aronson (Sound and Fury), resulting in Academy Award nominations, and numerous awards. In addition, Mark began working with the Cannes / Sundance Award Winning husband and wife filmmaking team of Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini. This collaboration yielded the films Off The Menu: The Last Days of Chasen’s, The Young and the Dead and the smash indie film hit, American Splendor. He resides in New York City with his wife and two children.
